Vince Lipari is a native born Sicilian having the fortune of being born in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. He and his parents came to America when he was just 3 years old where his Dad opened a Latticini….an Italian Dairy Products store in Brooklyn. Fresh ricotta and mozzarella were made there every day. The aroma of assorted cheeses and salamis hanging from the ceiling provided familiar perfume to the newly arrived Italian immigrants.
While the store and all its adventures made it a magical and rich childhood, Vince knew business was not in his future. After graduating college he started his more than 35 years in journalism working at radio stations in Pennsylvania, New York and Connecticut. He became the first Long Island reporter for WABC-TV in 1980. He also appeared regularly on Evening Magazine and A Current Affair, hosted a show on the Discovery Channel and anchored on Bloomberg TV. Vince also produced, wrote and hosted a number of commercials and infomercials including the iconic Hair Club for Men which always ended with the punchline “I’m not just the president…I’m also a client.”
